1. How do I get to the event?
There are many options for arriving to Cumbre Yah!. The closest airport is Morelia (MLM), but you can also check information on flights to Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Ixtapa. We recommend MLM, especially if you are coming to Mexico for a short stay.
Assuming you fly into Morelia, we will have a website set up with recommended accomodations and things to do, as flights usually arrive in Morelia in the evening.
We will have specific pick up times during the event where we will drive down to the closest town to shuttle folks up to Cumbre Yah!. You will need to arrange your travels to be at this town on time to be picked up.

2. I don't know anyone who is coming to this event. Can I invite a friend?
You are invited to share this website with your friends (who you consider to be creative and responsible), and they may fill out the application. The event has limited space, so we cannot guarantee that everyone who fills out an application will get a spot. Don't worry if you are coming alone- while you are here, you'll be among friends.

3. Can I bring my pets?
No.

4. Can I bring my kids?
Yes. Please help them understand why it is important to stay on trails, pick up garbage, and be good little people.

5. What will I get to eat?
Healthy food! The food at the event will be vegetarian, unless a theme camp provides foods with meat. You shouldn't go hungry, but feel free to bring snacks. We'll always have fruits and veggies available to eat in between meals. Please don't bring unhealthy foods. If you have special dietary concerns, let us know and we'll see if we can work around them. There are also outdoor stoves available if you want to bring your own food to cook.

6. I don't really... "get" Cumbre Yah!. Can you help me out here?
Hmm... all we can do is recommend you re-read the website, and then keep an open mind regarding the nature of the event. If you have specific questions we'll be happy to answer them.
